Is there anyway to add an attribute to be displayed on the Calendar Presentation? I would like to include Employee name on the display. We are thinking about using the calendar to show when someone is traveling to a client site.

Hi Stef,

You can add the employee name to the Subject attribute. It will then be displayed on the calendar. You can do it automatically by adding a rule to object Appointment, for example when the appointment is created:

If Appointment IS NEW Then Appointment.Subject = '<<Appointment.StaffResponsible>>: <<Appointment.Subject>>'

Ok, so the Employee Name in the Calendar Object is a reference attribute to the Employee object. When I put in the rule you mentioned the Appointment.EmployeeName shows up as null. I've found if I put a list of Employee Initials there, plain text attribute, then the rule works and it shows the employee's initials:subject. Is there away around this so I can still use the reference attribute and allow multiples?

Also, I'd like to be able to assign color to each employees appointments - is this possible?

Hi Stef,

My mistake. The employee name should be included in the path so the rule should look like this:

If Appointment IS NEW Then
Appointment.Subject = '<<Appointment.StaffResponsible.LastName>>: <<Appointment.Subject>>'

You can specify different icons to be displayed based on appointment data. See the icon rules for attribute Appointment.Type in the CRM application for an example.
