How to Login through Employee Table - v8.3

Hi Guys,

I am new to the awareim and coming from Magic background. I am trying to write a sample application in awareim where I wanted to login to the application through the employee table created by me in the application. Can anyone suggest a better way to achieve this in awareim.

What do you mean, "login to the application through the employee table"

In magic application we have the user repository to create the user logins (user/employee id and user password) and we also create the same user /employee id in the employee table in the database table and enter all employee related details. When someone logins to the application, it authenticate the user id and password from the magic repository user login and if we need the employee in our application we use the employee table from the database.

I simply need to learn doing the same concept in awareim.

Hi Sab,

If I understand your question correctly then you need to do the following steps

Go to Business Object Group.
Open SystemUser Object.
Move your employee BO to right under RegularUser.
This will create automatically system attributes and enable Employee users to log in to system.
