Upgrading to 8.3 - things to have in mind

Today I have updated to 8.3 and noticed that the folder structure has changed

Tomcat/lib folder has few files. Tried to modify the JDK version and replace the tools.jar file (is no longer in ../Tomcat/lib folder)
Now a tools.jar appears in ../Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM/WEB-INF/lib folder
a "lib" folder appeared in root folder of AwareIM

The procedure to change the JDK is no longer valid like was in 8.2 (Till today I have followed the Rennur's documents to update the JDK&Tomcat, but these are no longer good in 8.3 https://github.com/RennurApps/AwareIM-resources/blob/master/README.md ).

Anyone can help on this?

Hi George,
in v8.2, all jar files from Tomcat and AwareIM was merge in Tomcat\lib but it has been split in v8.3.

1) When you want upgrade the tomcat, just replace all of the new Tomcat jar files into Tomcat\lib
2) the lib folder in root of AwareIM directory is for all native AwareIM jar files, but when you want upgrade your JDK, you have to copy the tools.jar into this directory, ignore the lib directory in WEB-INF (for me)

I have test upgrade the JDK to 1.8.0_181 with Tomcat 9.0.11 and didn't face any issue
