Native mobile, with Push notification

Hi everyone, just wondering who has done a reasonable Native mobile app with push notifications? Would just like to find out how you found the process for doing it and any Gotchya's or tips and tricks to make it easier. Have a fresh app to write basically from scratch, so want to get things rolling right from the beginning.

Hey Mario, Can I ask why you would want to do Push notification with Pushover rather than using awareIm's inbuilt ability?
