how to UN Read Protect an attribute?

I have a form where I want a field hidden by default (so I have a rule, IF BO IS NEW THEN READ PROTECT .....

However, if another attribute is changed, I now want to SHOW the hidden field. What is the trick to UN-Read Protect an attribute?

If your rule has the right conditions & is set to with dynamic flag turned on, it will READ PROTECT and not READ PROTECT in different situations.

Assume the current user has an Access Level of 'Staff'

READ PROTECT Invoice.Amt FROM ALL EXCEPT System AND 'Staff'
... will restore access to 'Staff'

Problem is, thats not Dynamic, its hardcoded.
You cannot do this:
READ PROTECT Invoice.Amt FROM ALL EXCEPT System AND LoggedInRegularUser.AccessLevel

So, maybe
LoggedInRegularUser.tmp_string = 'READ PROTECT Invoice.Amt FROM ALL EXCEPT System AND ' + LoggedInRegularUser.AccessLevel
EXEC_STRING LoggedInRegularUser.tmp_string

You could approach it from a different direction.

If BO is New then the monitored field will have a prior value (undefined or zero).

If BO.MonitoredAttribute=[Default Value] then READ PROTECT

If you use IS NEW you would need to combine with an AND to override that when you fill in the monitored field.
