Can I use ENTER NEW with multiple records

Here is the functionality that I want:

User clicks 'Enter new records' and I run a process "ENTER NEW BO"
This displays a form, the user enters data and presses SAVE,
Now I want the record saved to the database, and all of the fields on the form cleared out waiting for the user to enter a new record.

This should not be difficult, right? I have not been able to figure out how to do this. What am I missing? (besides my brain?)

I know I can have a CREATE OBJECT in a menu, but I want to trigger this from a button on a query.

I got told to avoid using Execute process after save for things other than operation on that Object after you've saved.

As a result Save was added to the Process operation which allows you to save the record that you are on then run another process without being pestered for "Do you want to save"

How or rather where do you want to have this happen? If it is embedded into a VP then Enter New and save will show a new copy. If you are doing it as a series of pop ups then you could use the Process and Save option

Perhaps I did not explain my question well. Let me try again.

(and yes, Ben, I do not have the CLOSE FORM option checked).

On a menu, I have the option to CREATE OBJECT which will display a form, and when I fill it out and click save, the database is updated, the form cleared, waiting for me to enter another record. It does not matter if this is a popup or new tab.

In a Process I do not have that option, I can only use an ENTER NEW to have the user create new records. This will display a form, but when I user presses save, all of the data stays on the form.

I do not want to have a save process re-run the ENTER NEW since I would get screen flashing (not a great UI).

I don't know if this is possible, but maybe if you tried using Display Layout and then set "Create Object" in the setup

I use a default form to get the behavior you are describing. I prefer a popup, but can't make that work.

Still get the flash - but the form does clear.
