I asked this a year ago or so. No good way to do it.
Example: Lets say you create a BSV based on the CRM app. And you want to check something out with how it handles Incoming emails. And you activate Emails. If you publish that BSV, then FOREVER it will be running the 4 scheduled services each night at 5pm, 5:30, etc. PLUS it will forever complain about SMTP settings and connecting to email.
Example2: Lets say you write a demo app for someone. You publish it, so they won't have to type in the BSV & dick with the [ ] Test Mode checkbox. You set up a user demo, pw=demo and they log in to see what you wrote.
There is NO WAY to deactivate or UN-Publish that BSV, short of, I think, deleting the ENTIRE BSV & DB (which will lose your demo program).
