"server output" and "tomcat output"?

I know some people discussed this recently, but if the only benefit of "service" is that it starts automatically (and not some major performance boost), then I think I'll opt for the 3rd party solution to start it each time at reboot.

You’d need to update logger.props to write to a file and then use Logview.jar (I think) to read the files (or just look at them as text files)

Tomcat and server output are in the files named wrapper.log - one for Tomcat and one for the server. Search your Aware IM directory for them as I don't remember where they are exactly.

LogViewer - you need to direct your logging to a file (modifying logger.props), which will be stored in the AwareIM/bin directory, for example main.log or test.log (if testing mode). Note that depending on the size of your file you can get two files, for example, main.log and main.log1 (the latter being the start and the former - the end of the log).

You then need to run the standalone log viewer - AwareIM/bin/logViewer.bat and open the log files.
