Is there a way to change the name of your Business Space?

Is there a simple way of renaming the Business Name of your Project in 8.2 IDE?

For example, changing "IssueResolution" to "IR, without exporting, creating and New project, database and importing to new one?

Not that I know of, but assuming you store your BS's production and test DB in named Databases (instead of the default aware ones), its fast and easy. I do this ALL the time when I have to do my development on my laptop and it is many versions behind my main machine.

I have backups of both databases, I export my BSV, drop the existing BS, create a new one (with the name you want), import the BSV, go to test with NO data, so it builds all the tables, publish it, then shut down aware, restore the databases and all is good. a 5-10 minute project.

I'm not in production. It's a new project I just started. You see whatever name you give, that's the Web site title that shows in Browser Tab. I made the name small for testing, but the Browser shows the wrong name.

You can just change the tab title.

On your VP add this to the render script of a content panel (I always use one from the Main frame)

document.title="Whatever your new name is";
