Support, Please ADD Response Code to REST system

Digging deeper into Payment Processing services that work either via SDK or REST.
With their REST implementation, they ALL rely or use standard "Response Code" i.e. 200 or 201 or 400 or 500 and etc to convey what happened. They don't use messages as "Messages" are not standard.

When you do POST, all you get is a response code to deal with and some may offer an optional message and some may not.

In ASP.Net REST server, it ONLY sends a "Response Code" to the caller.

This is a required feature for most REST services.
Please Add this feature, so we can use it for payment processing.

Could you please respond to the addition of "Response Code" to Aware's REST implementation, as it is now a showstopper and I need to provide an answer to a prospect. I'm not expecting the implementation right away, but an assurance that will be done soon, as it is critical part of the app's invoicing and payment system?

As others have also voiced out, the lack of this critical part, causes problem. Most of REST servers don't use "Response Message" as a standard/required way to respond back to caller. It's an optional thing. As the message is a free text and could be interpreted wrongly and makes the response size bulky. Aware needs to provide the code that server returned so we can program against standard "CODE" than free text.

AIM remembers our preferred setting for standard view vs. textural view (I never use standard view).

Yeah, it is a little unclear when you read it.
Bruce has that problem on the Macintosh version.
I did not have that problem on windows. But it definitely does not remember the setting on Mac

The MAC version is brain dead, it very seldom remembers that you last edited in text mode. Talking about BOs, and Rules, Queries and Processes.

The Windows version starts NEW ones in standard mode and seems to forget once you publish (not sure about that.. but maybe..)

Would be nice to have a configuration option to select which you want as DEFAULT.

I don't as for THAT much, do I????

I don't think it does. I have run a quick test and it starts a new rule using the mode used for the last edited rule.

I will Test that on Friday when I am on a long (ok not long for you Aussies) plane flight.
Now, once you publish, does it still remember? (again, will test when flying over some H2O)

If the Windows version DOES, then please fix the mac version!
