There’s a wise old guy on the forum who always says “use the correct tool for the job”.
I don’t think Aware is the tool,
This looks to be a sleep study analysis by hour.
I think it’s a classic Cross tab format, or pivot table as some people call it.But I’m not sure that’s the right way to go. So as was suggested by ACDC, use the merge to and Excel template.
In order to get this data out of aware and into an Excel template, using the list start section methodology, you basically need to pre-format /Pre-Load all those fields in aware and excel export to populate all the cells In one section. You have three sections.
Then you have another list start loop for each of the next two sections also.
Excels only going to do one row PER LOOP ITERATION, so you need to have BO record that corresponds to one row of the breathing per minute line.
And it’s 24 fields across corresponding to hours of the day.
Most sleep studies don’t happen for 24 hours, so I would think on a typical form, there’s only a 10 or 12 columns filled out and then the row is sparsely populated based on how many breaths per minute he had in that hour.
But you’re still gonna have 24 fields in your BO, plus the heading line, plus a sort field.
It’s not as hard of a task as I thought when seeing this post initially.
You can do it
