Amit, a tip is to think about where/if you really need to use functions like count as these can be resource expensive (and if you have it on dashboards etc. etc., they are executed each time the dashboard is displayed). I often use plain tags for things like this (i.e just tag attribute value and the count is done somewhere else e.g when a new Appointment is created) and very rarely have live calculations/functions directly in html/panels etc...
I concur - generally I use stored procedures to populate a special business object with 3, 5 or 10 attributes named Answer1, Answer2 etc.
The native database is faster at counting and aggregating simple data that doesn’t require rules.
