Has anyone noticed that the behaviour of Google Maps has changed.

I created a new API key and on a server it works fine now. But, on localhost I am getting a Google watermark "For Development Purposes Only" even though I have a API key applied on my dev laptop.

Anyone know a workaround.

Also, would be interested to talk to anyone who has implemented this sort of thing in Aware.

I need to implement quickly so am happy to pay to get it done if cost is reasonable. Please PM me.

Its easy Mark...
you simply create an SVG path string for a quadratic bezier curve from 0 to p2 - p1 and attach it as a marker icon to p1.
as long as you remember to
choose (0,0) for the start point, since the marker will by later placed at that point. The relative position of p2 is now e = (p2.x - p1.x, p2.y - p1.y), and the relative position of the point half way between them is m = (e.x/2, e.y/2). An orthogonal vector to e is o = s * norm(-e.x / e.y, 1), where s is some scaling factor with s = |e|/4 beeing a good starting point. We now have the control point with c = (m.x + o.x, m.y + o.y)

So I have a BO in Aware with a number of flights and each record has a FROM Airport and a To Airport and I have the Lat and Long in the same record for each....

Egress Flights curve up in one colour
Ingress Flights curve down in another colour

I assumed I could somehow assign these like polygons to the Google map and then somehow apply the geodesic:true mapoption to get the same effect but have no idea how to do that.

Yours seems to arrive at a solution that works. But, that is outside of the Google Map control?

no, I did it outside of Aware, but I could do it inside aware and automatically.
Its building it directly in a Goggle map, on the fly.
got to head to bed tho.
(if I die in my sleep tonight, its cause this was my 666th post - hope yall will miss me )
