ok, turns out I had to do exactly this last night.
I saw YOUR log with this:
<prompted_value name="22" >b</prompted_value>
<prompted_value name="23" >u</prompted_value>
<prompted_value name="24" >t</prompted_value>
<prompted_value name="25" >e</prompted_value>
<prompted_value name="26" >N</prompted_value>
<prompted_value name="27" >a</prompted_value>
At one point I saw similar display of my incorrect input.
If you see that, its not working correctly.
Proper display would be this:

The biggest problem with the questions in the forum (and replies by Support) is that in ALL CASES (that I see), there is only 1 param being passed in.
You need 2.
And you need to know the way java/js wants to see those 2 tuples in an array. (btw, I don't know this answer)
I succeeded in getting this to work with 1 parm passed in (see in pic).
Would take more dicking around to find the "right" way to add 2nd, 3rd parms correctly.
Had someone in the past just posted a clear example of 2 parms, we'd be in the clear.
Hopefully, future searchers won't see YOUR example of 2 parms - you might want to re-edit that original post to emphasize to "DONT DO IT THIS WAY" - LOL
This works for me. (If you tie it to a button, you need this in an onclick statement.)
<script>var params = {}; params ['ob Lead'] ='<<Lead.ID>>'; AwareApp.runQueryWithParams ('sms_hist',params,"smshist");</script>
And the matching Query has this for its Text View:
FIND TwilioMessageLog WHERE TwilioMessageLog.ob_Lead=?'ob Lead' AND TwilioMessageLog.bounceYN='No'
Your original Query:
FIND Timeline WHERE
Timeline.ObjectName='Person' AND
Timeline.ObjectID=?'Object ID' AND
Timeline.AttributeName=?'Attribute Name'
ORDER BY Timeline.Changed
Looking at it here, it might be that your statement should be this:
var params = {};
params ['Object ID'] ='<< Person.ID>>';
params ['Attribute Name'] ='Workplace';
AwareApp.runQueryWithParams ('Timeline_Person_Attribute',params,"{modeless: true, position: {top: 120, left: 100 }}");
EDIT:
Was just looking at Kendo docs... noticed this example:
$("#grid").kendoGrid({
columns: [
{ selectable: true },
{ field: "name" }
],
dataSource: [ { name: "Jane Doe" }, { name: "John Doe" } ]
});
I know mine works with the "=" as I stated. This doesn't do it that way. dunno. FYI
