A process which has worked fine for years and one which I rely on during some overnight balance processing has today returned the following error
Unable to persist process context Data truncation: Data too long for column 'LONGDATA' at row 1
Can anyone tell me what's changed in 8.1?
Some background, the process selects all members (up to about 200) in batches of 1 then iterates through the list validating all opening and closing balances on each individual sales transaction on the the members account (bit like a bank account)
On my biggest client, there are 200 active members and about 60,000 transactions in total. I'm doing it differently in the future but needed to ensure all accounts were validated before pushing the new version live.
I thought I'd update from 8 to 8.1 first before validating - which now looks like a big mistake as the overnight processes worked fine up until the update last night.
It's not stopped the show completely since I've created a manual version of the overnight schedule process where I can partially select a list using PICK ONE OR MORE FROM - but I just though maybe AIM Support should know about this in case it has a knock on effect with other customers.
