Question about upgrading to 8.1 while under license

I'm running 8.0 and purchased my licenses less than a year ago. When I upgrade to 8.1, will I need to request new license numbers or will the existing ones still work?

This was a general question. For my future reference and as a FYI, when you go to the AwareIM website to update to a new version, you receive the following message:

"IMPORTANT. You need a new license key for this update. After download has been completed go back to your license and copy the new license key displayed on the form of the license. Then apply it by running AwareIM/bin/productKey.bat"

You will not need to request new IDs.
As you see, they are on your download page. You just need to copy and paste one number and apply it when you run the batch file.
Having said that, both myself and John Talbot had issues when doing ours. Even though it accepted the code, when we started up Aware it complained and did not initially start.
Got it working, but it wasn’t straight forward.
That may have been addressed as that was a few weeks ago and not with the latest build.

I don't see any bug fixes that point to an install/update issue, but it might have been a related issue to something else that was addressed. I'll keep my fingers crossed when I do mine.

Update was issue-free, so whatever it was must have been addressed by a subsequent build.
