Position Text Elements in Toolbar

I want to have two Text elements in a ToolBar BUT, I want the first at the far Left end of the Toolbar and the second at the far Right end of the toolbar.

At the moment, all Text elements get stacked to the left end regardless if they are placed after a Start Right Alignment.

Any ideas?

There is a neat feature in the "Edit Toolbar" popup that does exactly what you want (if I understand you correctly). It's called "Right Aligner".

Select a toolbar item, click on "Edit Toolbar, select the last item in the list, click "Right Aligner", move it up to where you want it and everything after it is right-aligned.

I know about that for a Panel Toolbar on a Form Jon....

But where is the Edit Toolbar button in a ToolBar in a VP?

I think Mark is referring to the "Toolbar" "Menu" widget inside the "Top Bar" of a "Visual Perspective". For each menu element there is a tick box option "Start right alignment". Im using this for a BSV in 8.1 and it is working for me.

I note in the DIV for the button the HTML applies a class k-align-right

Mark perhaps you have an issue in your CSS that is causing k-align-right to be skipped?

When I use Chrome inspector to check what CSS is being applied I says its using following from kendo.common-boostrap.css

.k-toolbar>.k-align-right {
    float: right;
}

YEp. Seen all that and done all that.

It will not let you put a Text element at either end of the toolbar.

It is a bug that has now been fixed for the next build. Yay!
