Images in /AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM folder

Suggestion...

As you know the /AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM folders gets full of many images and over time builds up, clogs up system, increases maintenance required, etc.

It would be great if these images could be dropped into a different folder, so we could write a cron job that just emptied folder every week. You can't easily do this on /AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM as there are items that you do not wish to delete here. But if they were segregated it would make it a lot easier.

Also... some files do not get an extension (they ARE image files but have no .png or .jpg extension)

This makes it difficult to write a bash script to clean them too, would be great if every file placed in here had an extension.

In version 8.1 you can now store images in a file folder. If you point them to a sub-folder of webApps/AwareIM directory no temporary images will be created at all!

This is great, for NEW apps that the developer can store images in the folder and not in DB, but the older apps still suffer from the images being left in the folder, unless they go through a conversion of dumping all the images from DB to stand alone images. But that's a tedious and risky conversion.
