Custom Query Template doesnt have access to LIRU fields?

To make an output customizable/selectable by the enduser, I'd like to offer them a choice of a few styles in their own user details. But I seem to have hit a limitation in this output template.

I get an error that it cannot find LoggedInRegularUser.CSScode in BO Contact (the main file of this Query).
Is this a bug or know limitation?
---> In a Custom Output Template, are we limited to ONLY the attributes of the Query's BO AND SystemSettings?
---> Is there a good reason why LIRU fields wouldn't be available?

Normally just {CSScode}

But you cannot use { } for some other object in context..

Try <<LoggedInRegluarUsr.CSScode>>

Thanks Mark, that did it.

So if its a field from the main file of the Query, then you use { }
And if its a related table or SystemSettings or LIRU, then its << >>

Problem is, I needed to use a LIRU field in a JQuery # if (..) # command and that wouldn't work.
(even trying < &gtl )

I wanted to make the Custom Template changeable by a User's setting.
Ended up having to use <<START SECTION>><<END SECTION>> and hardcode in my two choices... will try to figure it out at the conference.
