Intra, here's something thats happened to me.
If you install the CRM, and ever publish it, its out there running 5 scheduled tasks every day.
And if you played around with email while it was in test, I've realized before that I've got this LIVE "test" app trying to send email every 5-10 mins. It esp. hurts if you were fiddling around with email parameters (login ids, etc.) and if something is setup incorrectly, you'll get these attempts (and fails) to connect to outgoing email server forever. In your Aware directory you can find an OutgoingEmail (or UnsentEmail) folder - I had to go find those and delete crap outta there cause it was banging the crap outta GMAIL trying to send a bunch of bad emails.
(Only way to see this is to catch these error msgs in the Tomcat or Server output windows... but don't leave them open during production cause they eat up CPU)
so, does it "hurt" performance?
