I'm trying to update installation on my Windows Server 2016 machine that I use for production. This is my first attempt at an update on the server and I had someone else do the install. Using RPC, I go to the AIM website with Chrome, login, select licenses, select the 10 user license (as opposed to my single-user license), select update and select Windows.
Instead of SETUPVAR that downloads when I download from the single user license, I get SETUPVAR1 (and we're not talking about the auto-numbering when there is more than one SETUPVAR, because there isn't). When I double click on SETUPVAR1 (after stopping AwareIM/Tomcat), I get a second of the blue thinking circle, then nothing. I made sure that the file and folder are not read-only, I tried running in compatibility mode for XP Service Pack 3, I tried running as Administrator. Always the same thing.
Is there a substantive difference between SETUPVAR and SETUPVAR1? Can I just download from the single user license or is that a different file? The size of the two files is slightly different, so I assume there is a difference. Do I need to do something else?
