CHARS_FROM_RIGHT says Unsupported Function

Hi Guys/Gals,

v 7.1 B 2237

I am trying to do chars from right on a decimal number to get the decimal places, when I run it either directly as a business object rule, or in a process aware reports to me it is an unsupported function.?

Any ideas?

I also tried to get the decimal places by using the MOD function, but can not actually get this to return anything either.

CHARS_FROM_RIGHT(AS_STRING(MyNumber),2)

Yeh that is what I had, for some reason its like its thinking CHARS_FROM_RIGHT is not even a valid function.

I just tested it and CHARS_FROM_RIGHT works perfectly for me.

Show me you EXACT Action please.

Also, what version?

This was what I had :

InvoiceLine.TotalUnits=AS_NUMBER(CHARS_FROM_RIGHT(AS_STRING(InvoiceLine.Qty,2)))

InvoiceLine.Qty is a numeric with 2 decimal places. So in theory this should return just the decimal places.

Maybe it is a typo on the forum only, but that should be:
InvoiceLine.TotalUnits=AS_NUMBER(CHARS_FROM_RIGHT(AS_STRING(InvoiceLine.Qty),2))
