Be CAREFUL using Let's Encrypt, unless your just testing. :?

ALL of their certificates expire after "90 DAYS" and the last I checked they don't have any plans to change it.

How do you integrate the certificate in Tomcat on Windows server (multi domain)? Starting January 2018, LetsEncrypt supports multi domain.

My understanding is that if you want multiple root Domains on a single server then you needs a SANS certificate as compared to a Wildcard certificate if you have a single root Domain and multiple Sub Domains

They updated the article... 🙂 ... That bold text was not there few days ago...BUT, let's face it 27 Feb is not far away... We have more than 3 weeks to learn the process. 🙂

I think this is a huge change in SSL world.

Yes their SSL expire after 90 days, but on Linux are tools that you can automate the renewal process.
We have to dive to find the tool for Windows too....or invent it, if someone else haven't already!

You can manually make sub-domain certificates

In my script i have the following

./letsencrypt-auto certonly --standalone -d $mydomain1 -d $mydomain2 etc....

So just append multiple domains "-d switch" when you register.

Although i am not really a windows person, it would seem that located at this address is a CLI tool that will also allow you to auto renew on a windows machine.

Can anyone point to some resources for using Let's Encrypt on Linux with Aware's Tomcat?

Do you use Tomcat 8.5 or Tomcat 7?

As my experience, there are some resources only apply it with Tomcat 7 (use keystore file) but I think it easier when you install the SSL as certificate files (not use keystore file again in Tomcat 8.5)

I’m using Aim v8.1 I haven’t changed the Tomcat.

But if updating Tomcat would make my life easier then I will do (just need to leave a thousand post it notes to remind me when I update AIM)
