From a user perspective its much nicer if the file just lands in their downloads folder and they can then do what they need to (in this case it is being imported into another package) if they have to select it all, copy, open a text editor, paste it, save it, close it, it is many many more steps.
I thought maybe I could "trick" it by using a different file extension but that doesn't appear to work.
So can't be done?
